Chicken Korma

Ingredients

Chicken-1kg
Saras Chicken Masala- ¼ tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tablespoon
Chopped chilli- 4 to 6
Onion- 3
Turmeric powder- ¼ teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1 tablespoon
Garam masala- ½ tablespoon
Pepper powder- ½ tablespoon
Coconut milk- 2 cups
Curry leaves- 1 strand
Coriander leaves- ¼ cup
Oil- 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Water

Method of Preparation

Heat oil in a pan. Saute 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, chopped green
chillies, curry leaves and finely chopped onion until the onion become soft and pale
pink. Add the prescribed quantities of turmeric powder and coriander powder. Saute
until the raw smell disappears. Add 2 cups of coconut milk. Add the chicken pieces
and add sufficient water for the gravy. When the gravy starts to boil add the above
mentioned quantities of pepper powder, garam masala and Saras chicken masala. Add
salt to taste. Cover with a lid. Cook until the desired consistency of gravy is obtained.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Note: Add cashew paste for better taste
