Fish- ½ kg without bone
Saras fish masala- 1 tablespoon
Kashmiri chilli powder- 1¼ teaspoon
Turmeric powder- ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder- 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder- 1 teaspoon
Onion- 2
Green chilli- 4
Crushed ginger garlic- 1 tablespoon.
Fennel seeds- 1 teaspoon
Tomato-1
Coconut milk- ¼ cup
Coconut oil- 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice- 2 teaspoon
Salt to taste

Marinate the fish with Saras fish fry masala, some lemon juice and salt to taste.
Wait for 30 minutes. Fry it till it is cooked and keep it aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a pan. Put 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds. Add
curry leaves and 1 tablespoon of crushed ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute it
well. Now add sliced onion and saute well until it gets golden brown colour. Add the
prescribed quantities of turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, coriander
powder and Saras fish masala. Saute it well. Then add chopped tomato. Cook till oil
churns out. Add hot water. When it boils add the fried fish. Add ¼ cup of coconut
milk. Roast it well. Fish roast is ready to serve.
