Masala Peanut Chat

Ingredients

Peanut- 1 cup
Saras chat masala- ½ teaspoon
Finely chopped onion – 2 tablespoon
Finely chopped tomato- 2 tablespoon
Grated carrot- 2 tablespoon
Coriander leaves- 2 tablespoons
Saras turmeric powder- ¼ tablespoon
Saras chilli powder- ¼ tablespoon
Saras pepper powder- ¾ tablespoon
Asafoetida- ¼ teaspoon
Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
Oil- 2 tablespoons
Salt to taste

Method of preparation

Take a pan and dry roast one cup of peanut in low flame for 10 minutes. Keep it aside to get
cooled. Remove the skin. Pour 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Put some curry leaves. Add ¼
teaspoons of turmeric powder, chilli powder, ¾ tablespoon of pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of chat
masala and ¼ teaspoon of asafoetida. Saute these in low flame. Add the roasted peanut with ¼
tablespoon of salt. Roast for one minute. Move it to a medium sized bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of
finely chopped onion, tomato, grated carrot, coriander leaves, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and salt
to taste. Mix it well. Masala peanut chat is ready
