Beef Vindaloo

Ingredients

Beef- ½ kg
Onion- 1chopped
Ginger- 1
Garlic- 8 cloves
Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1tsp
Pepper powder- 2 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
Saras vindaloo masala- 2 tsp
Cloves-4
Cardamom-3
Cinnamon-3
Vinegar-3 tbs
Coconut Oil- 2tbsp
Salt to taste

Method of Preparation

Take the above mentioned quantities of ginger, garlic, fennel seeds, mustard seeds, pepper
powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, vindaloo masala, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom,
vinegar and salt to taste. Grind it in a mixer grinder and make it into a fine paste by adding some
water.
Take a pan and pour 2 tbsp of coconut oil. When it is heated add the chopped onion. When it is saute
well add the vindaloo paste. Put the beef pieces and mix it with the masala. Add ½ cup of water.
Mix it well. Cover and cook until the meat is tender. Add salt to taste.
