Into this add the previously made rice batter, rest of the roasted rice, 1 cup of sugar or jaggery, ¼ teaspoon of yeast and a pinch of salt with 1 to 1½ cups of water. Mix it well in the mixer grinder for about 1 minute. Keep it aside for about 5 to 6 hours to ferment.

Add some cashew nuts and raisins. Cover the steamer and cook it in medium to low flame for about 20 to30 minutes. Take it from the plate when it is cooled.
